Dear Families:
Can you believe that this is the kind of scene that we awaken to here on Bear Lake during this glorious time of year? There can be no doubt that the winter season is on our doorstep, however, to be able to take a moment or two to reflect and enjoy in this setting… memorable.
Campers will remember that our own Caleb Kalafer chanted a portion of his Bar Mitzvah reading at a talent show this past summer. Well, the real thing happened just weeks ago, with quite a few Wigwam personalities in attendance. Caleb was flawless, simply amazing! Mazel Tov to Caleb and his family on that marvelous event.
Congratulations, as well, to the family of longtime Wigwam veteran Mark Heller on the recent nuptials of his daughter Becky. That affair was held in New Orleans, and the “ Big Easy ” certainly lived up to its reputation. Again, Wigwam was well represented.
Families will receive a follow-up bulletin (via e-mail) later this week detailing transportation options for your camper(s) for the upcoming season. We will ask you to please respond to that bulletin in a timely manner.
How about an early winter contest to get the excitement growing?!
Anyone who might like to venture a guess as to when the first “measurable” snowfall of the winter season (over an inch) will occur at Camp Wigwam, will be eligible for lunch for two at Melby’s Store (formerly Tut’s).
(conditions permitting of course… if our “bubble” is still intact, this meal will be delivered!)
E-mail all guesses to bob@campwigwam.com
