Visiting Camp

We extend a most cordial invitation to visit camp on Saturday, July 26th. All Parent/Son activities will be held on that day. We invite parents and siblings to join us, starting at 9:15 a.m., for a walk-through of camp activities and program scheduling, followed by buffet lunch and The Wigwam Water-ski Show, the fourteenth annual Parent / Son Decathlon, and finally a theatrical production by the Wigwam Players. At that time, parents are welcomed to take their camper(s) out to dinner with a return time of 9 p.m. Sunday visiting is reserved for parents who can only make it that day.

Phone Calls

It is our policy at Camp Wigwam to allow phone calls to campers, within reason. It is, however, disruptive to the camp program to interrupt an activity to call a camper to the phone. Please phone just prior to meal hours, 8:00 a.m., 12:45 p.m., and 5:45 p.m. Campers, again within reason, are allowed to phone home. It is a good idea to set up plans for a phone call via the mail. Please use the (207) 583-4010 number to speak to campers, the (207) 583-2300 number for camp business.
