From Portland Jetport: exit airport and get
immediately onto the Maine Turnpike, north. Go one exit to Exit #48 – Westbrooke.
From the Maine Turnpike: take Exit #48 – Westbrooke. Turn right
out of the toll booth at Exit #48, go through 2 lights, and turn left at
the next light onto Route #302. Go to and through North Windham, and
stay on #302 to Naples. Turn right at a traffic light in Naples, onto
Route #35, and go 11 miles to Harrison. Turn left at the stop sign in
downtown Harrison. Continue through town about 1/8 mile and bear right
back onto #35 just past Rod’s Marina & Gulf Service Station. Go 2 miles
to a lake (Bear Lake.) Continue to the right around the lake. Pass Bear
Mountain Inn, Kimball’s Hardware Store (on left,) a Mobil Service
Station (on right,) and go only a few hundred yards beyond the Mobil
Service Station; take the next left (a hard left) onto Route #93 (Sweden
Road.) Go 1 1/4 miles to Bear Pond Road. Turn left, and go 1/8 mile;
turn left into Camp Wigwam. The office and the lodge are on the right,
past the basketball and tennis courts.
From Downtown Portland: take Forest Avenue West (Route #302.)
Follow directions above. From Lewiston / Auburn: take Route #11 & #121
to Mechanic Falls. Follow through town to Oxford, about 6–8 miles to
Route #26. Turn right onto #26 and go 3–4 miles into Norway / South
Paris. Pass Wal–Mart, Shop ‘N Save, and in 1/4 mile bear left just past
Swan Supply, onto #118 (See below -->)
From Norway / South Paris: take Route #118 out of Norway toward
Waterford. Pass Lake Penneesewassee on the right, and Little
Penneesewassee in a few miles, also on the right. In 4–5 miles turn left
onto Route #37. Take that 2–3 miles into Waterford, and stay on #37 (it
now joins #35.) Pass Keoka Lake on the left, and when you can not see
the lake anymore, go 1/2 mile and bear right onto Route #93 (Sweden
Road.) Go 1 1/4 miles to Bear Pond Road. Turn left, and go 1/8 mile;
turn left into Camp Wigwam. The office and the lodge are on the right,
past the basketball and tennis courts.
